Brian Irons

I wanted to change it up a bit by doing a post on a character that isn't a main protagonist.

Brian Irons appeared in Resident Evil 1.5, Resident Evil 2, Resident Evil: Darkside Chronicles-Memories of a Lost City, and Resident Evil 3 Mercenaries mini-game Mad-Jackal.

As a university student, Brian Irons was arrested with two rape charges. He went through psychiatric evaluation, but was released because fingerprints/solid evidence were required to be sure, and because of his high academic standing. A fax of his criminal history was sent to Chris Redfield and can be found in the S.T.A.R.S. office by Claire Redfield.

Brian was taking bribes from Umbrella Corporation, mostly from William Birkin, about five years prior to Raccoon City's destruction. After the Arklay Mountains incident(Resident Evil 1), to make sure that Umbrella would be safe, and to ensure that he would continue to receive bribes, Brian shut down the S.T.A.R.S. division. (The remaining members of S.T.A.R.S; Barry Burton, Rebecca Chambers, Jill Valentine, and Chris Redfield, knew that Umbrella caused the Arklay Mountains incident.)

During the outbreak(Resident Evil 2) he went insane and began hunting the officers in the police station like it was a game.

When Claire Redfield first meets Irons, he has Mayor Warren's daughter's(in the novelization of this game, her name is Beverly Harris.) body on his desk. He tells Claire that she had been killed by zombies, but he had kidnapped her and locked her in his office, killing her later.
In his diary(that Claire finds) he says that he desires to hunt Warren's daughter and stuffing her body, turning her into a trophy(saying that he is interested in taxidermy-he also has a stuffed tiger in the station).

When Claire leaves after they first meet, he hides in his basement/torture chamber(filled with torture devices and chemicals) with Warren's daughter's body. Claire finds him down there later and watches him get pulled into a nearby manhole by William Birkin. You can hear him, screaming with misery. Seconds later, he is tossed back up through the manhole, but only the top half of his body. (In another scenario, a G-larvae emerges from his torso, ripping his shoulder severly.)

Side note:
Him and Chris Redfield hated each other.
He had a bad temper.
 In the torture chamber.
 One of Irons' deaths.
